I have something special to share with you today- and it has nothing to do with lashes (well, sort of).
At 614 Lash Bar, we're all about community.
You feel it when you walk through our doors, right?
That warmth, that connection, that sense of belonging.
This season, we're extending that same energy beyond our studio walls with two community giving drives that support Columbus families and children who need it most.
And we'd love for you to be part of it.
🥫 Food Drive for Columbus Early Learning Centers
We're collecting essential food items for families at Columbus Early Learning Centers (CELC)- because no family should have to choose between feeding their children and keeping the lights on.
What We Need:
- Canned protein (tuna, chicken)
- Pasta, rice, crackers
- Canned soup, stew, chili, vegetables
- Boxed meals (Hamburger Helper-style)
- Baking mixes (pancake, cornbread)
Every donation, big or small- makes a real difference.
🎁 Toy Drive for Nationwide Children's Hospital
We're also collecting new, unwrapped toys for young patients at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Imagine being a child spending the holidays in the hospital. Now imagine the joy of receiving an unexpected gift.
That's what we're creating together.
What to Bring:
- New, unwrapped toys
- All ages (infants to teens)
- Books, games, stuffed animals, art supplies, puzzles- anything that brings joy!
Last year we had an overwhelming amount of support and donations. We helped give to over 25 families at Nationwide Childrens' Hospital. Can we beat last years donations?!
How to Participate - CLIENT OR NOT!!! DROP OFF IS OPEN TO EVERYONE!
- Grab a few items during your next grocery or shopping trip
- Drop them off at your next lash appointment - or message us to schedule a drop off time 419-654-3618. Business hours are typically 10-7 but we are by appt only and may vary
- Feel amazing knowing you've directly impacted a Columbus family or child
- BONUS - for your donation, you will receive a raffle ticket for a $25 Gift Certificate. Donate to one or both causes! Get one raffle ticket per visit, per donation box. 2 entry limit per appointment/ drop off.
Drop-off Location: 614 Lash Bar, Grandview Heights
Dates: Now through Dec 14th. Food would be appreciated before Thanksgiving, we anticipate 2 food drops (one thanksgiving and one Christmas). Toy Drop is due Dec 14th
Why This Matters
Columbus is our home. When we support local families and children, we strengthen the entire community. And honestly? There's no better feeling than knowing we're making a difference together.
You already trust us with your lashes and beauty services. Now let's show Columbus what happens when a community comes together with open hearts.
